  • Boating

Boating On The Perfect Mountain Lake

Surrounded by these ancient Blue Ridge Mountains, on this exquisite shoreline, Lake Toxaway is a boater’s paradise. The serenity and beauty of the lake make this a wonderful place to make ever-new memories with family and friends. Lake Toxaway is truly unique. It is not used to generate electricity. Nor is it used as a reservoir. The water level remains constant at 3,010 feet above sea level. The fact that it is private means it is never crowded or over-run with people. It’s like having your own personal lake to enjoy. Other than the Fourth of July, there are seldom more than a dozen boats within sight on the lake. And the Fourth of July is, indeed, one of many don’t-miss days on the water, with families and friends participating in or watching the day’s water sports. Boating on Lake Toxaway is, quite simply, the best.
